Professor TU Weiming went to Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and delivered a lecture titled “ Cultural Dimensions of China’s Transformation” for MBA students on 11 May 2015. The lecture began with Cultural China and a reflection of the past 170 years in China’s modern history. It analyzed China’s modernization, westernization, and globalization in relation to the Western Enlightenment tradition. It explored the core value of traditional Chinese culture in the background of China’s economic rise. Finally, facing the problems of China’s contemporary development, it envisaged a new humanism for the future of human beings. The lecture received warm response and sincere thanks from students both foreign and Chinese.
